Smile beyond barriers is a compassionate endeavor aimed at extending oral health promotion to diverse and underserved communities ranging from children in orphanages, prisons, refugees’ camps and people with disability,our target group vastly dominated by children aged 2-17 years. 

This project is a comprehension of screening, education and single visit treatment to the neglected groups. This is a uniquely tailored program to offer oral health interventions for their specific needs where we partner with other stakeholders to provide materials aid support,oral health screening,provision of oral health education and consultation,performing supervised toothbrushing and provision of oral health kits like toothpaste and toothbrush. 

In 2023, we visited different orphanages namely Mwandaliwa orphanage center (Kibaha-Pwani), Kisarawe Orphanage center (Kisarawe – Pwani), Mwandaliwa  Orphanage center (Kinondoni-Dar es Salaam) and VTC Salt Center(Ubungo -  Dar es Salaam) where we  made an impact to more than 300 kids and their guardians.
